JB+ install

Need some help guys. Just bought a JB+ for my newly acquired 335i. However, I have no idea how to install it despite the DIYs that I reviewed. I am not good with wrenches, thus a little nervous about trying this on my own.

Can anyone help me install it? I am willing to travel anywhere in the DC metro area. Thanks in advance.

Yup. That's the one. Are you coming to Looney's on Thursday? Maybe I can meet you there.

I just did mine in 10 minutes. Find the connector, slide the USB up it, pull wires out, reattach. There is nothing easier. If you can't do it, then you shouldn't have it done. What happens when you need to bring your car in to BMW - who is going to remove it?

Is there any way the dealer will know you had the tune if you remove it before you bring it in for service?

Well, has anyone help you install it yet? I can help if you're near the Columbia area.

It depends but do you want to risk it?

A JB+ is about as tough as changing a headlight bulb. Actually, on a 3 series, installing a JB+ is easier than changing a headlight bulb - you do not have to remove the wheels lol.

If you don't do it by this weekend, let me know. I'll be working on my car at CP-E in Beltsville and I'll be happy to help you install it.

They did, but that was the wrong place to plug in. You have remove the air filter which was not done during the install. I called Mike at Burger Motorsports to confirm this and the JB+ install has not changed for the 2009+ LCI cars.

No, you do not have to remove the air filter. It's a simple < 5 minute install.
