I think the host was the one involved in a serious car accident a while ago, so maybe he is being temporarily or permanently replaced.

You're thinking of Richard Hammond from Top Gear.

No that's Tom Ford. He's been on there for a while and usually is good but he's not as much of a gearhead/sportscar fan as someone like Tiff.

It's just his opinion...the other host didn't care for the looks of the new M5 either. As long as you like it that's all that counts, you buy a car for you not for what everyone else thinks.

Why is that douche bag from Nickleback reviewing cars?

god I hate 5th gear, not even close to Top Gear, and that explains why Top Gear is so much more popular!

I dunno, I thought it was a pretty good review. If you look at it objectively, both the E90 and E92 aren't really head turners. I mean, it still is just a standard 3. I guess the part I don't agree with is his opinion that the car isn't exactly what it's expected to be. It's a coupe that mixes performance and luxury but it isn't a sports car. It's supposed to be equally at home on the track as it is cruising around town in style. It's not an M...

just my 2c though

I think he meant that everything is great about the 335 except for the styling. He thinks it doesnt have a head turning look nor a bold look. Other than that, the 335 is awesome.

well, i had my car parked in the streets from the time to time, when i look back, there's always someone looking at it w/ the curious face. i always see heads turn when i drive by too. one of the most important reason why i traded my e90 for the e92 was the styling of the exterior. although the interior was very similar, but i still like it.

i guess the host dreamt of having a bentley arnage, since he couldn't afford it, maybe the arnage wannabe 300c was his other choice?

You hate Fifth Gear because of one review? Come on now. Fifth Gear is the show which doesn't usually bash cars unlike Top Gear. And I bet you wouldn't like the review they had on the E90 on Top Gear a few months back because Richard and Clarkson both bashed the look of the E90 and I’m pretty sure they'll bash the E92 as well but who cares if a few reviewers don't like the look of the car. If you like it then buy it, don't let one persons opinion piss you off.

I actually prefer it not to be such a head turner, it makes it more understated and classy. Its a BMW not a american toy car or japanase mobile phone.
