oil problems!

last night i was driving on the freeway when i heard kinda like a crack, the car felt fine but the engine was making a weird noise. i pulled over to smoke coming out of the front and out from the back. after the smoke went away i noticed that there was engine oil everywhere. what could have happened?

I'm not clear on what car you're driving. Your profile says it's a '93?

Give give us more information on what it is, mileage, etc.

you should look into where the oil is squirting out of then hopfully then you'll find and can immediately fix it.

Not sure about a cracking sound, but check your valve cover gasket.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but you seem pretty clueless about cars so just take it to a professional mechanic. I'm not sure why you expect the members of the E90-chasis forum to give you advice on and E36-chassis 325especially as we are all just sitting behind our computers and really can't see your car. Then you say (I’m using my dork voice) “I lifted it yesterday and more oil squirted out when I pushed the gas pedal.” WTFO.

Here is a clue, your car is 17 years old. It breaks.

Granted, lack of smarts the man is asking help from a E90 forum when he owns and E36, but if the only advice you have is to find a mechanic, then fat fucking lot of good you are anyway..

you might aswell be on an kitty cat forum for the amout of effort you offered..
