Looking for 161's shipped to Va.
Looking for 161's, NO DAMAGE. I don't care if they have some miles on them, within reason. Shipped to Virginia. Thanks. Need them in December. But, I'll take them sooner if the price is right. Last edited by JIMD1709; 11-16-2006 at 04:05 PM.. |

I have a 07 335i sedan with sports package.
I'm willing to sell my wheels and tires for $1300. Are you interested? |

No, sorry. I have wheels and tires that I will be putting on my new coupe. Dealer wants my trade with the factory wheels. So, they have to be 161's.

Yeah, I don't think they care what brand of tires, OEM or not. But, they have to be run-flats. I think RFT's suck personally. I am not using them now. I need to trade with run-flats though.

Well, I've gotten a couple PM's, and am willing to pay what sellers are asking, yet still can't seem to close this deal! I know it's a pain to ship wheels and tires, but damn, I'm paying for it.
So, if anybody's still out there I need them before my new coupe gets here! Looking to pay around $1000 shipped. (Last price I got was $1050) I said yes, but haven't heard back. I did decline one set, because two of the wheels were curb rashed, and didn't want it to be an issue at trade time. Come on, someone help me out! |

Update.
Well, I thought I had it worked out, but it didn't work out.
I had struck a deal with a member paid via Paypal, and he wouldn't take it because I wanted them shipped to my work, versus home. Anyone who has packed up or received wheels by UPS ect should understand. It's not like they can be just left on the doorstep, and since I'm always at work, it would mean me driving to UPS or Fed-Ex and picking them up. Plus I can store them in our warehouse until my coupe comes in. But, since my home address is my confirmed with Paypal, he refused payment and refunded my money. I then waited three days for the money to post, overnighted a certified check to him. I then called him (no call from him) and he said his bank said it didn't look real! So I asked him to deposit it, and he would see, he refused, sighting that it would cost him money! I also asked him to simply call the bank. He refused. I then asked him to overnight it back to me, so that I could get my money back quickly, he refused, and said he would only send it regular mail!! I even offered to Paypal him $20 to pay for an overnight via Fed-ex, and he still refused. I just want my money back quickly, so that I can get these wheels, to trade my car. I still need the wheels, if anyone is still out there. Last edited by JIMD1709; 12-01-2006 at 01:06 PM.. |

Looks like it'll take me a few days to get my money back now. I tried a stop payment at the bank, and they can't do it without his faxed signature agreeing to not cash the check. Of course he says he can't receive faxes.
I really can't beleive all of this. My bank even called him, and he still says it's a fake check! Also says he never got the message. All he had to do is deposit it, and not shipped the wheels until it posted. He has even called me at work (a reputable Infiniti dealership) so he knows I am not a scam artist. This all started because I paid with Paypal, but needed them shipped to my dealership, where it's easy to get them installed and they would store them for me until my car came in!! I just want my money back! I am giving him a few days, hoping he is honest. If I don't get my check back, I'll post up who he is. If I lose a thousand bucks to this guy, then everyone here should know this person. I really shouldn't have sent a certified check, but this guy is a business owner, I talked to him on his business phone, I though I could trust him. He seemed like an honest guy, you know. I talked to my Uncle, who is a Police Detective, and said I do have recourse, but it's a long process. If he doesn't return the check, and doesn't ship the wheels it can be fraud. The whole fake check bit wont fly, because he never attempted to verify it. Refused to. And, I have my Bank attesting to it's being real, and a record of them calling him. He never returned their call. I'll keep you all posted. I know there are honest people out there, but this gives me a bad feeling. |

Next time have them shipped UPS COD. UPS won't drop the package unless a money order to the original shipper is given to the driver. USPS money order always works. The seller gets his $$$ in 2 days. Cost a few dollars more but none of this bullshit. Don't let him get away with it. Fly out to CA if you have to.
