where in E90 with i-Drive can you have this installed?

not sure on a idrive. I had it installed on mye46. I guess if you want dvd on the idrive i think theirs someone on this board that has the unit to make that possible. This is pioneer product that can work on any unit and the face plate comes compatible for a e46, and for other cars, pioneer comes with a little plate as well that goes around the unit.

Hey what's up. Nope nothing is wrong with the unit, it's just that i was parting out my e46 since i sold my car already. Since everything is sold this is the only thing left for me to sell that was on my e46. will post the pics of it when it was installed in my car. I've had it for 4 months, but the unit i have used it for 3 (license was suspended for 30 days). Anyway yeah it's already packaged but here are the pics from my computer.

BTW, that pioneer dvd player is not the only thing in this package, also the pioneer unit that connects to this to make your ipod word and be control over the touch screen, and the face plate shown here, and also the PAC video bypasser (eliminates needing the ebrake on to see the dvd).

Ok, I know nothing about car stereos so just a few quick questions.

Just want to confirm that your package has eveyrthing needed to watch a dvd in my car. Also where does the Ipod plug in? Lastly everything is needed for installation is included?

Yes my package has everything that you need to watch dvd in your car... it's a dvd player. Go to pioneerelectronics.com and you will find a lot of useful information regarding this product and what it is and what it does. The ipod plug in is plug and play. That mean, you plug it in the back of the unit, and the other end to your ipod and it's ready to play. The wire that goes to your ipod, you can hook it up any way you want, their is no correct way to do it. if you want it in your glove department then you do it there, etc.. Yes everything is included for this installation. Again, i'm selling EVERYTHING that comes when you buy it in the store, i didn't keep a cable or anything like that. So that means you will not find a screwdriver in the package or a bottle of corona while you do the job. You get what you would get if you purchased it in the store plus the ipod adapter which is sold seperatly in stores and the PAC video bypass which is sold online. It is the PAC TR7<--google it and find information if you want to know what exactly it does... And for future reference, YES, it does bypass the ebrake screen. That means you put a dvd in the drive and it will play the dvd, you don't need a switch or anything under your seat. there is instructions on how to do this... Again it comes with instructions because EVERYTHING is included in this package, that means the instructions aka manual.

Your last question. Well this product is sold for $700 the cheapest new. The ipod adapter was $100 and now i think it's $50, the PAC i believe i've only seen it for $45 the cheapest, the face plate is sold $20. Now of course this is not including the taxes... Total=$815. Shipping and sharges+$15$830. My unit was used for 3 months and is being sold for $512 (and yes that includes shipping). $12 being the shipping since i'm sending it with Delivery confirmation priority mail (2-3 day delivery). So total really being paid is $500, Paypal charges a percentage as well, and that get's subracted from the unit. I think $300 lower is a good product. I'm trying to sell it because i don't have my car anymore not because it's a damaged unit. I'm trying to help anyone out looking to buy a dvd player without blowing out a lot of money getting this here and that their. I'm not trying to screw anyone here, and i hope people aren't trying to screw me. The most i can do is sell it for $505. $5 being half of what paypal will charge me.
