you need to post the codes that were coming up...sounds like either some fuel cut or possibly wastegate turbo issues or even a boost leak, but hard to say until you post the trouble codes.

mine was doing the same, its going to get worse. I changed the spark plugs b/c everyone told me to try that first, but didn't help. So now im moving on to changing out the hpfp.
the other option is to take off all the parts and take it to the dealer.

take the proceed out and take it to the dealer. If they try to blame it on the downpipes or intake tell them to go screw themselves and go to a different dealer. or do what most people do with mods and hook up you SA and Mechanic with $50 bucks each and call it a night.

It probably is your HPFP, but codes would be nice.
Had the same symptoms before I finally got it replaced today. It'll probably happen in 6th gear too, it's just a bit sporadic and related to putting some load on the engine. Dealer never said anything about the intake, but I am not sure about DPs. Definitely take the proceed out (and drive it around for a week so you have codes) before you take it in. The car will probably run better without the proceed putting extra load on the failing HPFP too. |
