brian's 135i dyno tested tonight, Procede vs JB3 2.0 battle.

hi everyone, i am new to these forums but some may know me from N54tech.com. I have built brians car with all of his previous mods that made him go 11.3 @ 125 with nitrous on a modded JB3 18ohm and 3.3 k resistor board.

about a month ago brian had me return the car to stock and has been running just the JB3 2.0 with the standard resistors still 18 ohm board. while having fun with just tune only we decided to head up to the track to see what kind of times we can achieve with just jb3 and race gas. well we kept getting weird CELs and shiv was actually there and helped us out a lot with our problems and was willing to let us borrow a procede V4 for testing. we did have some problems at 1st because we were new to all these new features and much more sophisticated system than the JB3. i started to question some of terrys methods and me and brian decided to put the jb3 to the test with the procede on the dyno.

here are the numbers.

procede is the red line juice box was the black line. HOLY TQ BATMAN!!!

now the thing that had us worried. the JB3's super lean AFR. 3 times on the dyno it gave us a lean AFR

now im not biased here, i OWN a civic. i just work on BMW's alot i like how the procede was able to offer the same peak power but in a much safer manner.

i cannot post this on N54tech either because terry has blocked all my post after correcting him on some misleading post about the procede. so now you know! enjoy

This will get washed up as fake and they'll say shiv paid you. JB guys never want to hear any criticism. Where is this talk about misfiring with the procede?

When i dynoed my car with JB3 about a year ago the dyno operator mentioned how lean the AFR's looked. When i went back the other day with the rev2 he mentioned how much better it was. He even overlapped the 2 and it was night and day. But now that we see the power diff, how does the rev2 drive compared to the JB3?

ON NOES! What about the claims about the procede misfiring and the insinuation the JB has no problems? I'm only pointing this out because every time there is something about the procede the JB guys jump on it and start making signs and sigs.

It's not that we don't like the critisism... but this is the most convoluted bs story I've ever heard lol.

Terry almost never bans anyone. Laloosh is the biggest ahole over there and Terry lets him stay... God knows why.

If you knew Terry you'd know he has no problem discussing things like this and therefore I question your motives and results.

Again: pfft

Things sound like you guys didn't see eye to eye and you're here trying to get back at him or something?

Hardly inspires confidence in your results.

Obviously there is something wrong with that jb3, you even said it was giving off weird cels. So how can you compare a non working tune to a working tune lol. I have a few a/f readout of pulls on nitrous running a .032 jet with just 93+meth and my a/f looked so good, my dyno guy said I could get away easily with a bigger shot. I call BS on this big time.

terry gave him new settings to avoid the CEL's he was having at the track. it was updated with the newest firmware. NO CEL's on the dyno with the JB3

I still see the thread and Terry hit the nail on the head.

This thread should die a quick death.

lmao! it never ends... People hating on each other for a tune.. I don't care about your post.. I really don't think there's any way a tune can run that lean.. specially on such a high map with fuel settings at max.

The thing that's really messed up is people actually hating on others from what tune one or the other uses.. from some comments above.. lmao! WTF makes you better because you use one tune over the other.. I love the interwebs.

WTF? how are we pulling off the sniffer? we do not operate the dyno.

You should post at the other forum. I can't seem to mention it here. Shiv and Terry are both there.

I read your stuff on n54tech. Too bad you got banned...
