Manual or auto??

Auto around 11k and manual nearer 10k

Nothing weird about not bothering to spend hundreds of pounds on xenons either.

good luck in car search.. i had a 330 petrol...loved the sound and was quick.
I now have a 330d torque i searched hard for a good spec and had to be a 6 speed manual, didnt want a slushbox...it feels great smooth and fast ..and best of all i hardly drop below 39 to 40mpg 50 on long runs and have dropped once to 34 mpg blasting about. (car about to remapped, was another reason i went for the diesel for budget tuning potential)
There is not much in it performance wise, I LOVE EM BOTH in different ways. Im sure you wont be disappointed whichever you get..
thing i miss most on my 330i...is that gorrgeeeeouusssss engine sound..mmmmm

Unless they can make a Derv engine sound like this......

I'd stick with a 330i. Might need your own petrol tanker following you or is it just me that hates filling up all the time?

+1 - 330i sounds fantastic, better than my 335i - a diesel just cannot give you that feeling of a beautiful sounding inline 6 at high revs no matter how fast it is.
