$58,200?! Yikes. I'd spend the extra $200 and get the M3 coupe. But I guess if you just HAVE to have a convertible.....

comparing a LOADED car to a BASE m3 is a bit daft IMO...

Not really loaded is it?

You get only the convertible roof and full leather (M3 has cloth and leather as base upholstery). All the other options have to be paid for anyway.

Fu*#ing ridiculous IMO. Over $70K after tax for a 3 series convertible! I can do without all the bells and whistles really. Everyone has his own preference, but I'd take a stripped down M3 e90/e92 anyday over a loaded 335iS. And truth be known, I love my 335, but damn!

well it's hard to understand...you want gadget you go for a loaded IS, or you want more power you go for an m3 coupe or sedan

the 335 convertible was always more expensive(when loaded) than a base m3 sedan or coupe.

Not really but if you want it to be look like an m3 is going to be more expensive for example (Premium Package $1,650, Convenience Package $1,250, 7-Speed double clutch Transmission $1,575, Navigation system $2,100) is like more gadget less power compare the m3 coupe or sedan

Im sorry, but the pricing has gotten out of hand. I still remember the day when a fully loaded E46 330 sedan came in at just 43k. Now that is the base for some lower level coupes.

BMW, you are just pricing yourself out on this one. I agree with all of the ' I'd rather buy an M3 at that price.'
