Why? Bikes are more about acceleration than top speed.

PS, wickedly optimistic speedo. I could see 180-185 mph, but not 206 especially from the CBR.

I'd like to see that again fdrom a standing start. It would take a long road for the M6 to get anywhere near the bike

+1 and im pretty sure the cbr slow down, thats how the m6 caught up

A Fireblade will do 0-100 in about 6 seconds, it is going to be a long way ahead of an M6 and will top out at around 175-185 mph depending on the wind

bikes loose steam as speed increases,

a bike's way faster to say 100mph, and after that the car's way faster

a bike is as aerodynamic as a barn

0-100 that CBR will put a few bus lengths on the M6...after that, drag starts to work against the bike and it'll begin to lose...and 600's top out at 155 or so...

Noticed that guy had traction control off. Whats that about? Is it safer to have that off when your traveling those kinds of speeds, or is it just the chip thats turning off the traction control?

At those speeds traction control won't save you...he turned it off so he can launch it...
