It's arrived !

Well I collected the new car at lunch time. It looked fabulous in the showroom. I can't remember much of what the sales guy told me, I was just thinking hurry up and let me get in the car!

Anyway a few observations during my drive today.
1. Even keeping to a limit of 4000rpm it's fast, cancel that - it's very fast.
2. Aceleration, in any gear, is amazing
3. The brakes are incredible
4. The sports seats are superb. Comfortable and hold you in place.
5. Even on 19 in wheels the ride is really good. Tried some of Oxfordshire's worst roads and it's very comfortable. Way better than my old Z4 (running on 18 in wheels).

Just looking forward to running it in and getting a few miles on the clock and seeing what it can do when the engine loosens up.
BTW - my 19 year old daughter has called it "the beast" and asked if her boyfriend could borrow it at the weekend. I had a very short answer to that question!
I took a few pics, I'll post some better ones at the weekend.

Looks amazing especially with the 19" wheels. The last pic shows how thin the tyres actually are - almost like riding on the rims

Dealer told me today that mine is due with me 3 weeks today - I'm getting anxious at the thought!!

Hope you enjoy it.

Very nice - and it does look a bit of a beast, especially with those 19" wheels.

Congratulations! It looks beautiful!

I actually saw my first E92 on the road this weekend, I think my family thought I had flipped when I started pointing and shouting "it's a coupe."

Pictures just don't seem to do it justice. They look so good in the flesh.

What a beauty!

Sparkling graphite is turning into my favorite colour for the coupe. So nice.

Was it a one, two letter word sentence or three word sentence, as in "NFW"? Enquiring minds want to know.

Oh, and nice car.
