OK so I was really bored and couldnt wait so I sawed it off without finding a plug first
So I sawed the resonator off and found a small plug in my garage. ![]() I used a dremel to make the intake side flat. I used super glue to plug the hole. As you can see, sort of a hack job ![]() I used my air compressor to blow air through it to make sure no leaks. There was a little leakage so I used electrical tape just to finish everything off and seal it. I might just buy a new 28 dollar pipe. I do feel a slight change in response - feels more accurate maybe? If your looking for sound, this isnt very noticable. Taking out the charcoal filter definitely added more sound and response. |

I am confused about where to get the plug....autozone, something like that?
What do I ask for? "I need a 38mm plastic plug", are plugs like this common? What else are they used for? ![]() |
