First i thought it was me , and that i let of throtlle during the shift. But then i tried it various times and made sure i got my foot pinned to the metal.

With the 4-15maps i did not experience this problem yet. My shifts are alot smoother now.
I'm an AT as well. I get the same feeling as well. It's not as bad as hitting the steering wheel, but it kind of holds back power and lowers the RPM and then, BOOM, RPM surges and power is regain. I'm changing my plugs first before making this an issue though, as I think this may be due to misfires.

So the bog is caused by something else and not the boost control system. It should be easy to figure out and solve. We'll be doing a little process of elimination to find the cause. Once figured out, we'll add it to the firmware for anyone else who would ever come across this condition. And right now, i think that is only him. My interest is piqued....

DTC on, DSC off, but should not cause traction control to engage on a 2-3 shift. Also, no traction light came on regardless.

You would be surprised that the traction control light can blink so fast that you can miss it totally! Also there are some instances that traction control does engage from a 2-3 shift...I have experienced this with my fully modded AT!!!...I am not saying this is the case with you, but just throwing it out there that this could happen!

I think that it means that he still did not get rid of his BOG problem , therefore the 0 1 score

Noticed today that my car also bogs on the new maps. Did some hard pulls today and it really bogs on 1-2 and 2-3 only seems to happen when i go over 5500 rpm. If i shift at a lower rpm the shifts are smooth and fast.

i had what could i guess be described as a bog issue back with the 2-23 maps. I hink I described it as like someone frowing out an anchor and then the line snapped. It would for sure throw you foward towards the steering wheel. It has gone away though with the newer maps. And yes it would do it with DTC completely off.

For sure. With that update you are taking the 0-5v meth flow output and connecting it to the procede input so it knows how much meth is flowing.

Just took these for a run. Stg 3, 93 octane (98 RON). UT 55%, IC 55% (for time being).

Damn, car is pulling very strong and boost targets are very accurate according to my Rix gauge. Aggr sitting around 2.2. Definately a noticeable difference over the previous 2-23 maps!

Thanks Shiv!!

just updated as well.

my first firmware update made my procede application unstable, it would keep disconnecting randomly from my procede...odd. i turned on my car for the first time and i got the yellow half engine light. i turned off the car, did the 2 gas pedal taps and restarted teh car and it was gone.

stock car - 30% ut 100% IC - very powerful, but the turbo lag was very bad. debug byte 6 stayed at 4, max 4.2 low 3.5

i then re-installed teh firmware. procede application still unstable, but start up was ok, and. tubo lag seems to have went away....from a butt dyno, i would say the power is more linear and continue to build to 6k rpm. at 30%UT 100%IC, byte 6 also stayed pretty much at 4, but max was 5.2 and the low was 3.5.

i hope these are safe debug byte 6 levels

3coupe - you might want to drop the UT a little more to get the byte6 to be somewhere in the 2's.

Question for Shiv or any prog. meth users. For the future 1 what setting should I be at? I have a CM 250 psi pump with an M7 nozzle. I know shiv sets his at 14 with the same nozzle and a 200 psi pump. Where should I set mine? Also when I get my kit installed Wednesday, how do I log meth flow with the p-reader? Which channel? Car is running strong with new maps. 50% UT and 80% IC and Im at 1.2 agression. Lots of room for more power.

In terms of the 6MT bogging, Shiv provided an explanation that makes perfect sense. I will relog based on his suggestions and post accordingly.

For you 6AT guys who are bogging, I have no idea

Is DTC map switching enabled in prog. meth mode? Or does it switch back and forth according to meth flow?

I thought 1-2 is the most conservative.

Shiv - 4 is the value at cruise. when i full throttle it dropss to 3.5 and 3.7, and rarely goes to 4.2. are these not safe debug byte 6 values for a completely stock car?

Shiv -

Any chance you could describe in a bit more detail how this value is calculated. I understand the high level in that its monitoring ign timing dropouts when in gear and when above certain rpm (>4300 rpm say to ignore the vanos change over)...how do you arrive at this aggresiveness number? What does say 2.0 represent?

When I'm dataloging (3rd gear WOT) and trying to find the max value of "debug byte 7" for "feature use 1'', do i use firmware #009, 4-15 map and set feature use 1 value to "1" ?
