the spoiler is reallly growing on me...... any more rear pictures from different angels if u dont mind... im out in the market looking for a spoiler and this should do it i think.. its called
3d replica spoiler right.. does it look like a vrs trunk it a bit lower

just the ones in that other thread i posted in the cosmetic forum, i can take more tommorrow if u need. Yea it's the 3d one, kinda does have that vrs or csl trunk look, i like how from the rear the curves from the side kinda extend up in the same arc into it.

yea these are the e46 m3, style 67

19x8 ET47 up front but i added a 12.5mm spacer so that puts it at ET34.5 probably could have went with a 15mm but wanted to keep offset close to stock up front for steering and suspension geometry to remain as designed. Original rims were ET34.

19x9.5 ET27 in the rear (no spacer).

standard tires for those rims are 235/35 F and 265/30 R

I have good clearance on the HR sports but i do get a slight rub on big bumps, not enough to warrant a fender roll. Rubbing has never left any marks on my tires, pretty sure it is just touching the fender lining not the fender itself on big dips, i expect that to go away as the tires wear down over time.

Great setup! Can you tell me what you used and the procedures u took to paint the lower grills? Mine are getting all faded and I think the way you repainted your lower grills makes a big difference on JB. Thanks in advance

First i removed the bumper cover, no way to do this right without doing that, it's a lot easier than you would think (there's a DIY in the diy forum), take 20 to 30 mins.

After you have the bumper removed you have to remove the finishing rods from the left and right lower grills, they have tabs and pull off towards the front of the bumper cover, if you dont take this off first you won't be able to remove the plastic mesh (at least on an e90 330i).

Now you can take off all 3 mesh grills, they have tabs and pop out towards the back of the bumper cover. Remove the finishing rod from the center grill and set it with the other two from the left and right.

I scrubbed everything down good with dawn and a brush, then hit it with some 600 grit sandpaper, then dawn again. After it dried i gave it a wipe with alcohol, let dry, hit with a tack rag to remove dust and hair. Painted with a Plastic parts adhesion promoter instead of primer, one coat, then i used color matched aerosal Jet Black paint and did 3 coats. After that i used a clear coat, 3 coats.

Reassemble.

When you paint you have to use the color paint a certain time after the adhesion promoter for it to bond, and coats are done a certain time after each other. Clear coat has times too, its all on the can depending on what brand you go with.

I bought my JB color matched paint from here.... http://www.automotivetouchup.com/spray_paint.asp just give them your paint code. It matched great and still does under all lighting, the nozzle also has a wide fan spray pattern like a real spray gun.

This diy helped...http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58978 but i did it a bit different i think, took off bumper first, then left and right rod, then grills.
