Steering issues

I have a 07 328xi with 150k miles so far. At around 120k I started noticing a slight whine when turning the wheel moving or not. After that it has progressively turned I to a louder whine with chattering sounds when it gets warmed up, it does not seem to chatter before the car is warmed up. I have searched around and have not found anyone having the exact same issue but I am assuming I may need a pump replacement. I am curious has anyone else had this issue? Steering only seems a tad heavier but still seems to steer easy and smooth. I have flushed and filled with new fluid still has the issue. Thanks in advance.
