Thumbs up Coolingmist (CMGS) Customer Service - Top Notch!

Recently I purchased a CMGS-FS VC2 methanol kit from Coolingmist. Meth kits in general are a great add-on to the N54s but this kit in particular I've been very pleased with, especially the simplicity of the VC2 controller configuration. Reading the manual was a bit hard but honestly hardest part of installation in my case was jacking up the car in my garage, taking off the fender liner cover in the passenger side wheelwell (I did the windshield washer fluid tank mount instead of the trunk mount) and running the wires through the firewall. I have to say that Dave@coolingmist is an awesome guy and his customer service and quick responses to my sometimes nonsense-sounding emails have always been outstanding.

Everything I needed came as part of the kit but you'll want to have some extra stuff with you to make for a clean install:

1) Black Insulating wrap/tubing for your meth/water lines to protect them from melting against something hot in the engine bay in case they were to come loose for whatever reason. I ziptied all my cables/tubing but you never know so I wrapped them as well.

2) Lots of crimp wire connectors

3) Electrical tape

4) Lots of zip ties so you can affix your cables/hoses to existing hoses/cables in the engine bay to avoid dangling and to make for a clean install.

Note the size of the VC2 controller box is 3.5''x3.5'' so its not as small as I'd expected it to be. Looking at the photos of the gauge vs controller they seemed to look the same size but I was wrong and didn't ask. I would've ordered the gauge if I knew this was the case but it doesn't bother me that much, sits in my glove box anyway.

In summary, if you're on the border line and considering a meth kit, I highly recommend CMGS-FS from coolingmist due to the quality of the kit and awesome customer service without which I would've struggled 3x more than I did. Thought my car was a monster after stg 3 boltons and a tune, well, now I don't know what to call this Procede integration, thanks to Shiv's tutorial on how to modify the harness, was a breeze as well and now I see meth flow in the procede reader...

Most importantly, thank you coolingmist, thanks Dave, and thank you to all the board members that assisted in getting this up/running!
