I just plugged the adjusters in and set them on top of the intake manifold. then started the car and watched them through the gap between the hood and windshield when the hood is up.
you can see them open/close when you turn the car on and off, and also when you rev the motor up |

Verify the part number. I'm pretty sure all N52 3-stage intakes are the same. I'm not sure if the 2006 X3 had a single stage manifold. Ask for pics to make sure.

I found a used intake manifold from a 2006 330 with 52k miles on it. The website has the following description:
"Intake manifold w intake air adjustment unit/DISA valve" Is this what I need for my 2006 325? The price is excellent, and I realize there may be some parts missing. I just wanted some guidance before I pulled the trigger. I just got the car and I've already got the mod/tune bug. |
