I think it's too much flare. Knock it down to about half that and it would look nice.

front are oem m3 fender, rear are custom...

I agree with other dude. I think if you cut that flare depth in half it would look great! Any more than that and it is really just overkill imho.
Is there any way to just shave off some of it?
On the other hand it is your car, do it up man!

this is going to look awesome imo in the end. wider than the m3? even better imo. if you can get some nice wheels to fill up that gap, damn this thing is going to be SEXY. good luck w/ the rest of the build and keep us posted on teh progress!!!!!
