BMW BuyersChoice Versus Lease

Has anyone purchased their BMW using BuyersChoice as an option to leasing?
If so, can you turn in the car as in sell back to BMW and walk away at the end of the term?

If I remember correctly, it is a hybrid purchase/lease.

There is a down payment required and the monthly payments are less than an actual purchase. You have an option to buy the vehicle at some point in the lease term via BMW financing at pre-arranged terms, as opposed to an outright purchase at the end of the lease term.

Again, its fuzzy but the main takeaway is that it was a hybrid financing product.

There really is no right or wrong answer, it all depends on your own personal situation:

1. How long will you keep the car?
2. What is your cash flow?
3. How much do you have to put down?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe there are tax benefits through the driver's choice option if you choose to purchase the car at the end of the agreement. You would have to have your sales advisor or finance manager explain in more detail.

it is still far away but if you are leaning towards owning the car in the long term then the buyer's choice is the better option, if you only want to keep the car for the initial term (i.e. 36 mo.) then you are better off with a traditional lease

I struck out, sort of. It is not offered in Wisconsin but basically has something to do with making your payments more attractive and bringing your vehicle close to fair market value at the end of lease term so youre not stuck making a large balloon payment.

Hope that helps but I was told there is not too much interest in it
