Just took delivery of a 2011 Alpine 335i !!

Good morning everyone!

I built the car and it finally came in yesterday...2011 335i Alpine White w/ Dakota interior (6MT) and I love it!

I've been an Acura/honda guy my entire life, this is my first bmw. Currently live near Ft Meade (Hawaii in the username is a long story...) and look forward to meeting everyone. I think the first step for the car is a set of matte black vmr's....but still doing research on which model. Thoughts?

my sister-in-law has the same car. Love the e9x(s). They are one of the best value in the market in terms of performance/handling/value IMHO.

Let me know if you need paint protection, mods such as any CPE products, BOV, JB tune etc. We speciailize in e9x platform.

don't go with the matte black wheels, for me haha. Get silver ones, you'll be happy you did. Beautiful car though!

on a side note: My fiance and I volunteered at the Lucky Dog Animal Rescue event in Adams Morgan a few weeks ago solely based off a thread I read from one of the members here on it. Can't seem to find it now...is that anyone here?

Great choice on the car and welcome to the community. Do the research, try to see your options in person and let your mind settle a bit before purchase. Balance all of this with not overthinking it and of course, make sure the modifications make financial sense. There are enough stories of 'oh I wish I knew about...', 'damn if I just waited...' and 'I wish I hadn't rushed into it' comments on every board.

Thanks for the good words. Whatever you decide, feel great about it. My choices aren't exactly different than most, but its what I preferred most. If you push the envelope of 'different', be completely comfortable with it and don't do it with the prime drive of just being 'different'. Love it first.

No problem man--your car looks sick. As far as the wheels, for me it simply comes down to weight and looks. I've seen all the black combination (matte, dark chrome, hyper black, gloss black, etc) for the Alpine White but still think I need to see it up close prior to making a decision. I ran into the "rushed into it" problem with a few cars I've had...the difference now is that the mods seem to be much more expensive and I'm not about to make multiple changes at those costs. (few pics attached of my previous vehicles...too many changes) I appreciate the advice and look forward to meeting you guys...

Congrats! Welcome to the BMW family.

You know, I haven't been paying attention lately, but the new OEM LED angel eyes on the E92/93s are sick! One of them was behind me today and I couldn't help but stare in my rearview mirror!

I love my Lux H8s on my E93, but damn, OEM is sweet!
