I picked up a pair of H8 bulbs for $29.95 on Hoen-usa.com

I've ordered from them before and had good luck. Should receive them in 2-3 days.

Thanks--I just had no idea--there are many mods for these BMW's that are expensive--glad to hear that this is one that is pretty cheap!!!

So once you replaced the defective bulb, you no longer had the error message? I think seeing that all the time would drive me nuts......

I think these lights from your link are far more expensive than the ones the OP was using. He and another person were talking about $25-30 a piece for these H8 bulbs.

I too, would like to know how difficult it was to do the fogs--might as well do both at the same time!

:-P I will post some pictures once i receive the H3 Bulb... right now.. the job is half done..... (Swap out the Fog, Swap out angel..)... there is one more things to seal the package...

The other one i almost pull the trigger was the Mtec Cosmo Blue...

Now as far as my freaking defect bulb.. the damn seller won't reponse to my email.. so becareful of ebay seller: with bulbs locate in taiwan... the seller id start with Auto.....

I purchase another set of H8 from different seller.. to experiement with color.... Again.. I really have no choice... I will go with PIAA 99.99% of times.. but PIaa Japan don't even have H8... so this is a in between waiting experiment...

I've gotten myself 2 pairs of Mtec H8 Super White Bulbs too, and...

It was a pretty easy switch for the angel eyes, and it looks good!

But here is where the trouble started to kick in when i was switching the fog bulbs, I got to the bulb okay, but i twisted left to loosen it, but it wont come out, can someone please shine some light in this problem?? I am sure it is something stupid and simple to get the fog bulbs to come loose...

Fog bulbs from inside the fender:
