Thanks Long.
I decided to use an old credit card (harder ID card will do), to get in between the bumper and doublesided tape. After heating up with a blow dryer briefly, i slid the plastic card behind the bumper in between the tape and reflector and was able to just slide it along the tape and pulled off the reflector with minimal bending of the bumper. |

Longtran had a group buy at one time, but it's way over with. you can buy the relfectors from BMW and have them painted.....probably around 115 bucks for it all.....or Bimmian.com has them for sale. they are not due in till march. i ordered them, but got tired of waiting and bought a set from someone who no longer had their car. Guess i will be selling them when i get them.

Added up the price of primer, factory match paint, clearcoat spray cans + shipping. I figure I just order them painted from **********s. Skip the 3M tape and X-acto cutting job.
Does anyone know if **********s painted reflectors come with adhesive? Also, do new reflectors purchased at the dealer come with adhesive? Thanks |
