Coilovers for e92?
New to the forum, figured id post up to say hello and get a quick question answered.
Im thinking of going with a 335i sedan. I know there is an H&R coilover kit for the E90, but is there any difference in the suspension fitment of the E90 vs the E92? Who has coilovers on their 335 and what kind do you have? Adham |

Im not sure i understand. what is different about the coilovers for a e90 330 sedan and the ones for a 335 sedan? the body is the same, and i was also under the impression that aside from the motor, the rest of the car was virtually the same as well.

HONESTLY i think the performance is better on the 335 than it was on my 325 handling wise this 335 really rides on a rail now compared to my 325.. ![]() the car on the right is my 335 slammed on kwv2's and it rides the same as OEM sport if not better..

ADHD: thanks for the info. I really like the bumper on the e90 with the black wheels, is that the same as the 335 bumper without the line down the middle of the mesh sections? I was thinking today how much better the front would look without that line. I would love to see some more pics of that front!!

the front bumper on the car on the left with the black wheels is a Msport front bumper!! the car on the right (my 335) has the oem bumper

care to share with me what's your setting on your KW V2? what tyre are you running? i'm torn btw the KW V2 vs the Koni FSD with H&R sport. which would you recommend? on top of that, i recently found that Breyton had reworked/tuned the Bilstein PSS9 which offers better comfort. have you heard of it? read in Option Fan mag in Hong Kong.

Thanks guys!!!
Yes im rocking Kwv2 coilovers.. I got them from Creative autoworks. I would definitly recommend these over some koni struts and hr sport!! With the coilovers u have the luxury of setting the car at whatever height u want and the dampening as well!!! It took me a good week to get them dialed the way i like.. these coilovers can be completly different with a couple of adjustments!! Ok settings; 1/1/4 in above the strut seam on the front!! 4 full turns up on the back!! dampening on all 4 around is 2 click from tthe softess setting I can assure u there will be a photoshoot today so more pics of the stance on the new 335 will be shown

I had PSS9s on my E46 330Ci, and they performed well. However, they did get kind of beat up and corroded over the course of the 2.5 years I had them.
My friend has KWs on his S2K, and I have to say, its a better made setup. The quality of the components seem higher, and with stainless steel construction, they are the "suspension that lasts" I would go KW over PSS9 (or H&R, which is essentially Bilstein) Im going KW on my 335 when I make the upgrade this summer.
