Nokia E50 and Docking Cradle

Will my Nokia E50 work with the BMW docking cradle? I know that t he bluetooth connection should be fine, but I am not sure if it will actually dock in.

And also, will I see a substantial decrease in the arm rest space when I add the docking cradle?

Thanks

There is an insert for the docking cradle for each specific phone. The Nokia is not in the list of compatible phones so there probably is no insert for it but check with the dealer to be sure.

It may still pair (without being in the docking cradle) even though it's not in the list. You would have to try it to see.

Clarify how you know the connection will be fine, please.

I own many Nokia phones and currently the E50 that I have does NOT
work but I am about to try the latest firmware to see if I get lucky.
It pairs up and then loses the pairing and the car can't see it anymore.
My 6310i and 7370 work fine and they both download the phonebooks
too.

Yes, about 80%. More specifically, all of the volume that is in the rubber tray up to the top of the cup holder. There's enough space for a small notebook (3½" x 6" x ½") between the adapter and the arm rest lid.
