You could sell the idea to Dolci, Gucci or something

ok so they are ok... but not awesome. i think they pretty much don't add or subtract overall from the car... definitely not as awesome as I had hoped...

hope they grow on me :-/

hey thanks. they grew on me guys. i took the car out around town and flogged the turbos a bit... then i looked at the lights...

not so bad. i guess it is a step up. now all i need are my style 230 19" wheels, a slight drop, and a limited slip differential to keep from spinning my tire! i try to ease on the accel but you cant get the rush unless you chirp them at least

Actually, they look great. I went through that. I hated them, then I saw them, then I loved them, so I bought them, then I hated them again, now I love them. When I see other E90's with the stock lights, I find I just can't stand how much red plastic there is at the back of the car. Blacklines really clean up the back end - especially on a dark colored car.

I agree that the black plastics seen through the lens isn't great. I also think that they leak a little white light when viewed from above (see pic). But the quality is the same as oem. Give it a week or two - you will find that they grow on you.

Another benefit is that it's a subtle little touch, that helps differentiate you as an enthusiast rather than one of the millions of people out there that bought the car for image alone.

Whenever I see a BMW with blacklines, or debadged (not re-badged), or with spacers, etc. I know it's one of US and not one of THEM.

Nothing looks as cheap as that white plastic outline of the reverse lights on the stock lights.

Those Blacklines make your great looking car even better - maybe even awesome!
