I don't have fold down seats, or a ski pass in my E90. Does the sound penetrate through the rear seats enough to really feel the bass?

That's kind of the point of the placement for the sub. By putting it in contact with three different surfaces of the car, its felt much more so than just the standard one or two. You'd be able to feel a regular one anyways though, as long as its somewhat decent. You don't need your seats to be folded down just to feel it. This unit just takes it a step further by giving it more contact to the vehicle, increasing results. If I understand it correctly.

You've heard back from me, I just haven't figured out the last question - where to pre-mount the bass knob - yet.

None of the parts seem to be that cheap. I'm thinking that you should remove the shifter surround panel and send it to us and we can premount the knob and send it back to you with the system?

Could you send me a PM for an enclosure shipped to 96818? If you can only house a 10" with this enclosure, I will go with the ID10. Is there any way you can spec the enclosure for a Type-R 12"?

Did anyone end up finding an attractive solution for mounting the sub level control? Also interested in whether a 12" version is feasible?

How much would it cost to ship that enclosure to Hawaii (96789)? Would it fit an IDQ 10? It appears that it fits a W6 which are the 2 subs I'm considering.

That looks awesome.

VP - does this SW match your enclosure size? -

Edit - I'm referring to the JL sub in the pic above.

I'm guessing it doesn't go as well SQ wise.

Also - can you give the exact enclosure volume?

I want to know if its possible to get this to house a 12" sub

I think there are enough brands out there that offer shallow mount 12s so that shouldnt be a problem. Even some regular 12s should be fine in that enclosure.

Also, by any chance is it possible to get this same enclosure but made for the left side?

Im such a bass head that if I can put 2 12"s (1 on each side) and keep my whole trunk, I think it would be ridiculously awesome and loud.
