i had the same problem at that Effin track lol. Its a bitch on map 5 bro i did over 15 passes on map5 with a DCI and couldnt do better than 13.1 @108 with a 2.0 60ft. All i did was switch to 7 the next time i went out and on the first run i did 12.816 @111 i was extremely happy and the next 3 passes were almost identical. More boost = happy camper.

their was another guy their with map8 and 100ct that did 12.5 or something like that. Try out 7 and youll see the diff.

Nice! definitely switching to Map 7 next time, did you launch at any specific rpms or just took off? I'm actually basing my goal on your run I saw the post sometime back thought it was impressive. Good to know you were on map 7 I would have been trying forever lol Thanks for the advice.

I dont have a billion dollars and dont like spending $2000+ on a new clutch so the way i launch isnt to hard on the clutch however its aggresive enough to get a 1.9-2.0 60ft.

Practice this from time to time on a open road where you wont get pulled over. Or at the track.

Rev up to about 2k try to keep it in between 2k and 2400.Bring the clutch out right before the point where the car is ready to move .When you get the the green ( dont worry about reaction time it wont mess up you run) dont dump the clutch just aggresivly let off the clutch and try to balance that out with giving gas. when you get to your NSZ ( no spin zone ) when you know the tires wont spin if you go wide open throttle. Let off the clutch fully and stomp on it. This will all happen in about 2 seconds so dont hold your clutch out halfway to long while giving gas otherwise youll burn the clutch.

You have to feel the car hook and then go WOT. You just need more time behind the wheel at the track.

Same go's for Auto's^^^^

Main factors.

1. If you get wheel hop out off the line let off the gas FAST! and just throw the run. You will 150% break something if you dont let off

2. If you spin 1st gear hard. Just throw the run. No use of going through the gears if your ganna run a 14+ et. Unless you want to.

3. Try not to be nervous. that messed first runs i ever did. Just chill out and run your ride.

Hope that helps bro,Jon

If your auto. Sit at the light anticipate the green. wait until the last yellow get on the brake hard and the gas hard. the second it turns green with will be about 0.2 seconds later just let off the brake. Feather the gas pedal a very little bit (if you spin) .

Do it the way Jimmy does it and your golden for a 12 second run.

Thanks that's a HUGE help I was going about it completely wrong I'm an auto so I was just holding the brake rev it till 2000 and waiting for the green and WOT but would spin every time. First time ever at the track I didnt even know to wear jeans ended up wearing shorts over shorts lol lots of fun tho. Got a whole new game plan now Ill update with the results I'm gonna go again on the 28th. The video helped alot, I actually met Jimmy at Gatsby's the other day he knows everything there is to know about these cars.

Thanks again bro!
