Hi, I am planning to buy a set wheel that has following specs? Will these wheels fit on to a 2005 E90 320i?

2 X 18X8.5, 42ET, 5X120

2 X 18X9.5, 45ET, 5X120

Those offset are very high, should be 30-35, but you can put on 10mm spacers for a better fitment.

Those wheels look like E46 fitment. I think it would be much nicer to get the right offsets, otherwise it won't look quite as good as it should.

I'm not sure about Vic, but in NSW wheel spacers are illegal. It could be a problem if you need to make insurance claim.

You'll most likely want to throw on at least a 5-10mm spacer front and rear for a more flush fitment. With these sizes, you can run a 235 front and a 265 rear.

Those offsets are a bit on the high side for your car. You want to aim for a 18x8.5 ET35-40 in the front and 18x9.5 ET33-35 in the rear. You can achieve this by putting a 5mm spacer in the front and 10mm spacer in the rear with the offsets you provided above. Feel free to shoot me over a PM if you have any questions at all.
