Best car chase in a film?

I nominate 'Ronin', on Channel 5 now. Towards the end there is a 406 v M5 car chase. Outstanding.?

What do you reckon?

Agreed. Amazing car chase - some really hard cornering that makes the cars look like they are running on their rims!

When saw the title of Thread, was going to say Ronin

On the making off they showed how the actors were in the actual cars (being driven by the stuntmen) but they were in the passenger seats with there own fake steering wheel...That's how the look so involved/scared sh1tless)

So what was in the briefcase?

The Mini chase in The Bourne Identity is pretty cool along with the chase in Bourne Supremacy

and while this isnt a chase, isnt in a real film and isnt what it seems, I love it

The Driver (Ryan O'Neil) has a good one and I agree with the Mini chase in the Bourne Identity.

All good but nobody's mentioned Duel (1971 - Steven Spielberg's first major film). Fantastic use of tension the whole way through - considering the time he had to shoot the scenes and the measely budget it's an epic piece of cinematography. Crap car but a classic chase.
