any iphone 4 case recomendations?

hey guys,

i know a few on here have picked up their iphone 4's, i got mine delivered yesterday

i want to get a case for it pronto as it feels quite slippery in my hands, not sure why. anyone got a case for theirs or can recomend one? at the moment im thinking of something clear (and not the leather wallet types)

cheers!

I've ordered the free bumper for mine, just because I was in a rush!

I have dropped mine a couple of times and so far, it hasn't scratched or anything

Seem quite substantial!

you droped yours a couple of times already! it def doesnt hold in the hand as nicely as the older ones for me, but i love the wait it looks

oh yeah free bumper i almost forgot about that, will get on the 'case' with apple immediatley though i am looking more for a case rather than just a bumper, but at least it will help with the drop in signal probs

I've already scratched the lens (badly) on my HTC desire and getting a replacement battery cover (it's part of the cover) is nigh on impossible. Dammit.

I also bought screen protectors but have found the screen to be totally scratchproof and better without them - doh!

Ha well the first time it flew out of my jacket pocket, and the second time it vibrated and fell off the kitchen unit!

You get used to it after a while though and the screen is

Oh dear the pun!

I'm on my second iPhone...the first one, the camera didn't work and it used to drop calls for fun! The second is perfect though! No signal issues at all!

O2 are now offering the iphone4 to new customers so I'm just waiting a couple of months for my Vodafone contract to come up then will make the leap. Hopefully by then any initial gremlins will have been ironed out .

I have a basic thin snap-on case on mine right now, but I ordered one of those Element Cases alonh with the optional carbon fiber back plate, that's a nice product right there

I got my freebie Apple bumper in the post last Friday which replaced a cheapo silicon job.

I am however waiting for the new Tech21 d3o iband... which keeps getting delayed

http://www.tech21.uk.com/

I had the same for my 3GS and having dropped that several times (once from quite a height) I'm now a devout believer in d3o!

they do, where the dust rubs on the screen under the bumper, I got round it by adding a screen protector to front and rear.

if anyone wants this and near Tottenham Court road theres a place called Inkino.. they'll sort you out with cases and protectors - top guys in there..

thanks for the replies guys!

i downloaded the case app from apple and ordered the belkin shelid micra case in clear, as this was sort of the kind of thing i was looking for (i think)

http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPa...duct_Id=512038

something slim fitting and wouldnt spoil the lines of the phone. hard to tell whats its going to be like until it arrives though. if i dont like it then i'll be looking for something else.

got my order confirmation from apple, anyone had to wait 4-5 weeks to get their free case/bumper?

I just got the clear guard for the outer edge from Best Buy. I dont like hiding my iphones with cases. Just reminds me of putting a leather bra on a car.

Anybody receive their Element Vapor case yet? Finally got the email to move from 'pre-order' status, ordered and paid today for a silver/silver version. Should finally have it soon
