Compatible Phones for i-drive bluetooth

Hi Guys.. I just bought a new Samsung SGH-A701 NextG Phone however it doesn't seem to work properly with my Beemer's I-drive. It will make calls etc but wont show the address book or signal strenth.. Is there something i'm doing wrong or will only a certain selection of phone work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm going to have to send the phone back to swap it over.

Cheers..

Well after a lot of reseach i decided to get a tried and proven phone. There are not alot of 335i's around and my salesman phone did not pair properly. However, by chance anther salesperson paired his phone successfully so i bought the same type. A Nokia 6233. Which is an Optus phone . However, as i have a great deal with Vodaphone and did not want to change, i seached and purchased one outright over the net for $388. It works perfectly

I am waiting for Telstra to bring out the Nokia NextG phones before I go down that little path...
