BMW Driver Training- DECA.

I posted some photos from my last trip to DECA in the 335i a while ago, and there was some interest from other members who wanted to come along to the next one.

Its on Saturday August 17th and is run by the BMWCCV. You don't have to be a member or even own a BMW to come along.

Details and entry forms are in the link.

Look I'm turning 18 in 3 months, and when I took my dads 335i out onto the skid pan you learn basic things like how to anticipate under-steer and how to react when the back end kicks out.

It's good because you can push the car as hard as you possibly can and not worry about smacking a tree or phone pole.

It's also a good hoon day, where you can do things you wouldn't normally attempt on the streets. But if you push too hard, a new set of tyres might be needed

They have a smallish racetrack there also which is good fun.

At the end of the day they wet down the skid pan and you get to attempt to drift in one of those massive circles. Also good fun
