Aggressive Tire Widths (NO STRETCH)

I'd like to see some wide tires stuffed into our wheel wells. Factory fenders only please (roll and pull is fine). Also post up your wheel offsets/tire widths.

I've been wondering what would be the optimal offset to fit the widest tires possible.

I'm gonna guess like +45 and maybe a 295 is possible? Maybe that would hit the strut?

I really have no idea tho

Good question; I have no idea either. I've got some 275s going on 19x10 Advan RS et 24. It should work since my car is a pre-LCI E90 with the slightly wider wheel wells, but I'll let you know once I get them put on.

well, with my fenders at a mild roll, i have 12 inches from fender to the shock body. the average 285 is about 11.2 to 11.5 inches wide. i think a 295 would be possible with a hard roll and pull. fenders wouldn't look stock though.

-3d camber, with 18x9 et20 and 275/35/18 nt01 fit up front. No rub, no fender mod. Same tire on 18x9.5 et35 fit with rubbing on the fender liner. Trim some liner sections, and it would fit fine.

This weekend I'm putting on 18x9.5 et30 with 265/35/18 nt05's. I'll take pictures.

Be particular about the tires you decide to run, cause you'll have trouble rubbing on big bumps if you aren't. I'm assuming that you're going to be lowered about 1.25-1.5 inches from stock also.

what is considered "wide"?

Im running 19x10's in the back, on 275 wide rubber. Its definitely wider than most, for the average non m 3 series, but dont know if its anything to show off or post?

I so go for it. I ran a 15mm H&R spacer up front with the setup below (not 245s I know). It did rub on occasion, but very minor rubbing and definitely no damage of any kind. Heck, I've even got my wife quoting, "If it ain't rubbing, it ain't right" now.

19x8.5 et 35 front (shown with 15mm H&R spacers)
19x9.5 et 33 rear (shown with 10mm H&R spacers)

265 30 19 Hankook V12 rear

ok you have my attention.

stock camber up front? i'm not familiar with the geometry of the front suspension and how much the wheels camber in under load, but that seems like it'd tear off your fender if you took a turn over a dip at any decent speed. my e92 fenders are plastic. doesn't leave much room for error!

For e92, I'd go no more than 8.5 et -25 with 235's. Effectively it's what I'm running (Miro 111 19x8.5 et -35, with 10mm spacers)

Looks nice and flush but just clears with no rubbing. Any more aggressive and you'd need to dial in more camber to make sure you don't damage the plastic quarters on our cars.

I'm running 19x9.5 et -33 (effectively et -21) with a 12m spacer in the rear with 265's and it rubs a bit still even with a healthy roll. I think that's about as aggressive as you can get on these cars before you start dialing in camber or running stretch/poke to clear.
