DEAL OF THE MONTH

I have read on the forums that some people have been getting as much as $1500 off MSRP.....thats a bloody good deal as I know BMW has little that they can do on deals.....I got $500 off MSRP 3 years ago when buying the X5 when it was released...

Well Im just loving it...............I managed to bargain and haggle getting exactly $2208 off MSRP !!!! I didnt think it was possible but still managed a great deal.... I got 4% off everything I ordered.....

Car built: SAPPHIRE BLACK, 330i, SPORT , IDRIVE (NAV),leatherette, STEPTRONIC...

This car is unbelievable....all you guys on this forum should consider yourself the luckiest guys on earth owning and being linked to a great car and car manufacturer.!!!! CHEERS to you all.

X5, Wow!!!! I can't believe you got that good of a deal. Where did you buy the car? I am just in the process of leasing a car but of course I will be negotiating on the price.

$2208 off MSRP is really not a great deal...people are getting $1000-1500 above invoice...

Considering you got a 330i, Steptronic, Navigation, etc. that's not too surprising. I only have a 325i with a few options and I managed to get $1200 off MSRP. The more options/packages you get, the more discount you get.

$2208 off MSRP is better than most are getting in Canada. JVFan in Alberta got a great deal, but he went in with another person (his bro i think) and bought two cars...

We got a fantastic deal, not $1000-1500 over invoice, but considering what the average is - I'm not complaining. As mentioned, it also has a lot to do with what you're buying,... a 325 stripped down isn't going to garner $2000 off MSRP like a loaded 330 will. The more you spend, the more you CAN save.

X5, welcome to the community. A mountain of useful (and useless) information can be found within these pages, as well as a hell of a lot of great people from all over the world!

Depending on options that wouldn't be far off.

I got 1,500$ below MRSP which is ~ 1,200$ over invoice for a 325i ....

=> $2208 off MSRP is a much better deal ...

it depends what you are getting. I got a 330i so the MSRP and Invoice gap is bigger. For 330, last time I added it, the MSRP - Invoice was about 3700, I remember finding people that got 500 over invoice for a 330. I think it'd be a better measurement if we all just stick to $ over invoice more than $ under MSRP.

Great deal and congrats!

But please do get the premium package. It adds so much more to the car...

I got $1000 off msrp for my 330. The only options I ordered were steptronic, sport package and a rear spoiler.

yes your are right. That's a number we can easly compare. I got a
basic car and my dealer told me that on my configuration the best
he could do was 1,500 below MSRP that in my case translate to
1,200$ over invoice. I also added leather and folding rear seat at
invoice price (You can find invoice/MSRP price for each option). So
I end up with 1,200$ over invoice that I think is pritty good. Also
all the interaction with the dealer was done by e-mail. Once we agreed
on the deal I just stop by to sign the paperwork. There was no
surprise and a very relaxed experience ...

was it european delivery? if not, then i gotta say it's pretty darn good. Although a NJ dealer offered 1000 over invoice for whatever i get but ended up getting it from a nearby dealer for the same price.

Eitherway, congrats on your new car!!! I can't wait till my car comes too...off to pay for the car today

Thank you e90fanatic. No was not ED (as you can see from my signature).
I should have done ED but when I ordered the car I didn't understand
how it worked (I thought I should have pay delivery myself ....); that's really a pitty because I have family in Germany and I go there often ...

yea...it should be fun. But the wait is killing me. Once i see the car in two weeks, i have to wait for another month before i see it again. I should've just did the regular delivery but figured I should visit the factory and Germany at least once. Should be a trip that i'll never forget. But after going into the dealership today and saw an X3 with 8000 off...I should've just bought that...hahaha...46k discounted to 38k WOW!

But make sure you take lots of pics of ur new car! We all should!

X5 seems to be a good negotiator. Another $500 is on the table for Members of the BMW CCA in the form of a rebate. The catch is that you must have been a member for at least 12 months prior to taknig delivery of the new 3-series car. Greater rebates are offered to club members on higher dollar BMWs.

Yeah, a couple of months ago you could get 7-8K off of the '05s. I got $350 under invoice, so I was satisfied.
