What is the tolerance before you are snapped in your area? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Here's a fun topic for all the family!!

I know that the states have different levels of tolerance before they snap you for speeding. For instance in SA it is 9km/h, thus if the speed is 60km/h you get snapped at 70.

What is the tolerance in your area, what do you think of it?

i see a lot of people go 80 on a 65mph roads. i think thats okay as long as you're not alone so you dont stand out.

last week we got pulled over for going 88mph on the I-5 NB.

I heard somewhere that NSW was 1km/h

Though it could be VIC...

I went past a copper radar doing 75 in a 70 zone. I think it is either a 4-5 kms/h leeway in NSW.

I am sure the word "lucky" is being used loosely, unless you are caught speeding on Oxford St during late february

Well i guess the wig thing won't work so ill leave it up to you and ASTRA to give suggestions to what blokes can do to get themselves out of receiving a speeding ticket.
