Hello World!
Just signed up for a blazing new 335i with the dealer here in ATL. Supposed to pick up the car in Munich. Couple of quick fire questions for the guru's: 1. Best way to arrange my trip (airfare+hotels+....etc) costs...etc 2. Closest airport? Franz Josef Strauss Airport or anyother? 3. I did a two week trip myself. I did about half the housing arrangements before hand and about half on the fly. I made sure I had a hotel and such for the beginning of the trip to make pick up easy and same for the end for drop off. Since I was there for the European GP I made that reservation as well. Besides those, I just used a combination of a good guide book and some hunting to find nice places to stay. What you do while you're there is completely up to you though, depends on your intrests. I would recommend a factory tour though, they're pretty interesting and you can see "your car" being made.

Depends on time of year. Personally I love to drive in the Alps. Half the fun is perusing all the travel websites/books and figuring out what you want to do. And then throwing it all out the window after you meet someone in a Munich Biergarten that wants to go hike in the pyrennees. Life is great. Especially in a BMW in Bavaria.
