Any experience with Tint King in Billerica? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi All,

I'm picking up my E92 328xi from Tulley BMW in Nashua next week, and want to get a formula one pinnacle tint done. When I was considering an Audi A4, many people from audiworld.com suggested I use tint king to tint my windows- does anyone have any feedback on tint king? Specifically, how do they handle the dot matrix?

I had Brandon from Tint King do my 2001 330ci. He does very professional work and I would definatly recommend him. He gets as close as possible to the dot matrix, it looked as good as any dot matrix tint job I have seen.

I got both my 330XI and my 335I done their. Brandon is a nice guy, they do good work.

What tint and % did you guys get from Tint King? I was thinking F1 pinnacle tint, 20% or 35%. What is the legal limit in MA?

I'm really psyched about the positive feedback on the dot matrix, this was a big concern of mine

Legal is 35%. They'll have a conversation with you about that and even write legal on your receipt if it is. Stock your windows from the factory block 5-10%, so make sure to plan for that when you pick which tint to put on. They'll go through it with you...

Any other place in MA / NH that you would suggest?

I've been putting off getting it done because of this numbing cold, so I'll probably do it at the beginning of March.

I had mine done at Sonny's in Saugus, MA. They have been around for ever and do really nice work. They use Madico and will only do legal tint.

I would wait till the weather gets warmer, say like late April - May.

i have had all my cars tinted by tintking in scarborough canada by a guy named wayne,the are the best,they have tinted everything from my sons civic to my wifes benz,the on that impressed me the most was my 750 li the job and color was perfect,if you ever need help to choose a tint call wayne,he knows his stuff.

I had mine done there and the owner was great! They have a nice waiting area too!

My gf just picked up a new car so we'll be taking her car there to get it tinted.

??? tint king in Billerica, not Toronto. Thats kind of far for us

I got tints and paint protection (clear bra)done there. They did very good job with both. They will walk you through all options you have based on your interior and exterior. 35% is legal and they will give you a receipt for it. I dealt with Brian and Corey and both have tons of experience with Bimmers

Tintking did both my e92 and e60. e92's rear window will never look good but they do a great job and have an awesome waiting room. They are my tint shop of choice.

Another satisfied Tint King customer here. I don't recall that they sell Pinnacle brand tint. I had Huper Optik at 35% all around and I'm very pleased.
