What do you guys think the 2007/2008 M3 will cost????

Taking into account that the previous E46 M3 was R545k
The BMW 335i is R488K
and the 335i Convetible is R577K

Im thinking maybe R620K ...

Your guys views ...

Every Dealer is telling me the wait list is already very long ...

Anyone on here put a deposit on an M3 with the intention of keeping the car and not selling to make money ...

i think 620K is about right.
plus options....
I am told there will be a year or more to wait for one...

i ordered at Club Motors Berea City in Centurion, Auto Glen, Alberante ... auto Glen and Alberante can really tell me how long i would wait ... Berea City told me #1 ... cause the guy that came in before me ordered 3 and he is most prob a dealer

there is a blue Z4M at alberante and a new 325i coupe too avail immediately

I also think R620K is about right... but I suspect that they will take it closer to R650K in less than a year after launch, seeing that the demand might be high.... the same way as they increased the E90 prices in September/October 2005, having launched it in May 2005.

Are we going to get the M3 Sedan? If we do get it, it will be interesting to see how they price it.

In about a year from now, I wanna change my E90... and I'm still hesistant about getting a 335i Coupe/Sedan... if they bring the M3 sedan, i might just consider it.

yes there def is a M3 sedan ... when i ordered the 335i dealer showed me the car on their system, will arrive after the coupe

Wow... that is great news... you have just made my day. If it comes after the coupe, I suppose it will be somewhere in March 2008, seeing that it has been seen testing as early as last year....and it will probably be introduced at the same time with the M3 Convertible.

Depending on how "cheap" it will be, the sedan is the one I'm likely to take... sort of like a "mini M5" hehehe!!!

Also, I think the M3 sedan will have a more reasonable waiting-list.... or is it probably wishful thinking?

i think so too ... many are going crazy for the E92 ... (maybe South Africans are just M3 crazy i doubt the entire south africa can afford an M3) dont think people now bout the E90 M3 ... so yeah i think u be one of the first to get the 4 door version ... March 2008 i think is spot on (maybe it was May ... cant recall)... should be even cheaper than the coupe ...

Yep, everywhere you hear people talking about the new M3... but I agree with you... not a lot of people will be able to afford it here in SA... however, if they price the E90 M3 cleverly, it might just outsell the E92 M3 based purely on price.

I hope BMW will live up to the M3 expectations they have created with the 335i... I think the success of the RS4 has a hand too... we all expect the new M3 to be better than the RS4.... time will tell.

But the gap between E9x M3 and 335i has to be big enough, i will be sad if its not ... did u order the E90 M3 yet? suppose do so if u have not ... I made sure the dealers signed the OTP and it was on their system ... did not put any deposit ...

All these nice cars and choices ... wish i could buy all of them and just keep em ..

Agreed... if there isn't enough of a gap, most potential M3 buyers would turn to the 335i... it's hard to imagine that BMW would commit such a suicidal blunder... here's to hoping that the M3 will be all it's hyped up to be... and hopefully the price will not break the bank.

No, I have not... I've been thinking about it though....I thought it's still a little bit early, but being first on the list is a good thing... I will be visiting the dealership soon.

Yep, if I had the money, I would get both the 335i and M3.
