Ever wonder how much and what kind of testing suspension manufacturers conduct in the development of their parts? Here's some rare testing footage from Bilstein's development of their suspension parts for the pre-LCI E90 back in 2006. The video shows the suspension testing includes slalom, irregular roads, high speed track, and even some hooning!

I wish they had a video more like the tirerack reviews where they have one car with the product, and one car without. Then test them side by side so you can see what the actual difference really is...ie reduced body roll, corning, etc. That video was just a feel good piece.

What would be nice is if they did a real time comparison with a stock suspension.
