Great BMW Mechanic

Don @ Auto trend. He owns the shop, been in business for years. One of those rare honest mechanics.

Champion Motors!

Ok, so its a Vette shop but these guys are super cool, they are straight up and have a wicked dyno setup. I have a ton of respect for these guys.

They all suck at some point. Your milage may vary.

I just recently had coilovers installed at one of the mentioned places. When I took it into a suspension specialist to get it corner balanced, they found the the shop that installed my coilovers had over tightened the lug bolts on the passenger side. He had to wretch it free with a 2 foot breaker bar. It was tightened down so bad that they recommended that I replaced the lug bolts.

Something as fundamental as torquing the bolts down properly wasnt done right

/rant.

+1 I've had the same issue with one of my set of wheels. They were overtightend and my bolts were seized.

Theres more to this. It got uglier. Let me just say it took all of 5 mins for Rocco to figure out and fix the fuckups that the first shop made. Never will go back again.
