Not sure if the newer BMWs have TPMS or FTM (my 07 335 was FTM) but if it's now a TPMS I don't think you can use tire sealer as it will damage the sensor.

if im going on a really long roadtrip and if space allows, i bring a full spare/jack. otherwise, most of the time, i spend driving in the GTA area.
+1 - BMW roadside assist. Never had to use it (knock on wood)
