Anyone running Iforged or DPE's on an E92?

Im thinking of ordering either a set of Iforged or DPE's for my 335. Ive yet to see any pics of either brands mounted on an E92 though.

If you have a set, lets see!

Im also interested to know what the max lip is for this car. I have a feeling you cant get a 5" lip like on my E46 m3

I waited 11 weeks for my IForged Wheels. I called them after Jan 1 wondering where they were. They said they wouldnt be sent until first week in Feb. I canceled my order. The horror stories are true.

i had some Iforged wheels on my previous car. They do take long to order (even though they sponsored me), but i love the wheels -- no problems after 2+ years.

longtran, your wheels arent going to fit an E92. Granted I could kilter the camber in like a mofo and roll the fenders, but thats hoaky

M3to335 yes, longtran's wheels will sit perfectly on an E92. no need to fix camber and "might" not roll fenders.

because he has a 19x10 +30 offset on the rear (considering putting it on the E90, you can still can put a 5-10 mm spacer)
E90 can handle a 5mm less E46 M3 offset.
E92 can handle less agressive offsets than of an E90.

M3to335, if you're planning to have some aftermarket wheels, best bet is to get a higher offset since you can go with spacers depending on the look that you want "flushed" or "tucked". Also, consider that you want to roll your fenders or not.

Front:
19x8.0 +30 and 8.5 + 35 offset will not scrape when turning left and right.

Rear:
To give you an idea: 19x10 with a +20 to +23 offset (M3 offset) sticks out on an E90 with a slight rubbing on fenders. Since E92 cannot handle much agressive offsets as the E90, this offset will stick out more on an E92. thus, result to rubbing issues.

Going back to the issue that if Long's wheels will fit the E92, 19x10 +30 offset will sit flushed. Rubbing will depend on the spring drop and tire size.

I hope you get the perfect offset on your aftermarket wheels.

I am getting DPE wheels with 19x8.5 front with et35 and 19x10 rear with et28. I am getting Toyo T1R's with 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. Hopefully I won't have to roll the fenders but if I need to I will.

Yeah, I'm not sure whether or not I will be getting springs. If I do I will get the H&R Sport springs.

M3to335, check Longtran's pics...did i say that it will look "flushed" ... he test fitted it on his E92!!

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...7&postcount=46

now tire size, choice of rolling the fender or not and suspension set up will be the answer to the question: will it rub?

When we order your wheels, we take into account your model as well as specific needs (max lip, BBK clearance etc...) and custom design the offset to fit your vehicle while maintaining these characteristics. Let us know what you want and we will do the rest
