I need new tires + turning in a lease with different tires?
So, i REALLY need new tires. i have 8 months left on my lease, and i can drive around with dangerous bald tires and then be charged for 4 brand new tires when i turn my car in, or i can get the new tires n\ow and enjoy new tires for 8 months before i turn the car in.
1. whats the cheapest place to get the OEM horrible runflats 2. has anyone turned in there BMW at the end of their lease with tires OTHER than the stock run flats? Thanks

note for your next lease remove your OEM tires when they are down to 20% life, store them, and when time comes to bring back your car put the OEM's back on
1) tire rack 2)BMW will def. notice non runflats |

That's an interesting question.
I doubt you will get charged for turning in the car with non-RFT. However, it depends on how strict the inspection is. When I turned in my VW lease, they did a quick walk around and look inside, took a couple pictures and were done in like 3 minutes. My Nissan lease as the opposite. The guy spent 15-20 minutes looking at everything and checking off all kinds of "inspection" points. I would call the customer service number for the lease and ask them about the tires and if there are "restrictions" for replacement type/brand. The other choice is to find someone with used runflats who is upgrading and wants to get rid of theirs for cheap. There's constantly people on these boards selling off their OEM runflats to upgrade. Good luck and let us know what the leasing company says. |
