Aftermarket Subwoofer for 2011 328i Convertible

Has anyone or does any know of someone who has successfully added an aftermarket subwoofer to their convertible? There is very limited space when the hardtop is down...

I have a 10w7 but there is no way it will fit. May have to even go down to an 8"...

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure as my first BMW has yet to arrive...but seems like a lot of folks just upgrade the underseat woofers to 8" subs. Also, I believe VP Electricity/Technic worked on a joint project to create a 10" box that fits flush in the side of the trunk...not sure if that would fit the convertible trunk, though...

Don't have an E92/3 yet. It is a tougher one to get great results, the vert. We've done a few different verts. I definitely recommend upgrading the underseats first and see if that's enough for you. Two SWS8 and an amp...
