So I went into my dealership today looking to do an annual oil change and a few other small things and I told the SA of the on going long cranks I am getting. He then told me that there is a new software out for the fuel pumps, and that he said it starts engaging 2 pumps (one in tank and one in engine, sorry i forgot which he said) once you do things like unlocking you doors, or engage it in another way (eg: lower you windows?). Since I've got back, it sounds like i am going to get a long cranks like before, but the car starts up at around 4-5 consistently now. Any one else heard of this?

I'm having the same issue and probably need the update - also I don't mean to hi-jack this thread like a terrorist, but I'm now getting feedback in the exhaust after starting the car...I hear like a crackle or a noise from the back of the car after starting...anyone else experience this?

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING A SOFTWARE UPDATE.

got the software update due to long cranks and am not too impressed. the car still goes but doesnt have the raw power anymore and the exhaust seems to be quieter. must say it has adapted ok and has improved the past few days, gonna put the jb3 back in today boy how i missed the power!!
