Toyota Rav 4 3dr

My mothers car its on a 53 plate and covered 7,000 miles one owner full toyota history, serviced every year ,Just paid for a 70,000 mile service on a 7,000 mile car .

Time to change it she is now 72 and likes being high up so another RAV but it seams they only do 5 doors and look much longer,

I am struggling to think of something suitable Suzuki jeep thing looks small short .

suggestions please it has to be manual as she wont do auto box despite everyone telling her it is the way to go

What would i get for the rav???

Reminds me the local guy at the BMW dealer specificly asked about it when i was trying to off load my dads car.He would love to buy it for his daughter .And i was to let him know when i wanted out of it .

I may see what mum wants get a quote then let him broker a deal as he is in the trade and if he saves me and he gets the RAV everyone is happy. As long as i save money and aren't out of pocket.

Mother ain't to fussy about car parks and shopping trollys.

I did suggest a mini BUT NO!.

Yes it is mate! Although it is a 5dr, it's a really nice size - plenty of room inside but not an overall big car - The Cooper D model pulls really well for 110 BHP and the ride quality is far superior to that of the normal mini, and in someways the 3 Series.

It does however still handle and stick like a Mini - If you're looking for a small SUV type vehicle, that would be my recommendation for the moment

It has to be small she has had a driver for the last 17 years as dad retired early . alas he can no longer drive , so circumstances dictate she will have to drive or be stuck at home

She can drive but isn't exactly skilful so small is what is required .

My wife wants her to have a mini

Mother has had a Rav then a pinin back to Rav . I think the Rav only come in 5 drs now .

There isn't any great rush but we want her to remain independant .So i will get some mini brochures for her to look at her leisure

I think someone will get a nice cheap car.
