Rubbing noise

I've been hearing an intermittent rubbing noise emanating from the front, driver's side wheel. It sounds like the brake pad is rubbing on the rotor. As speed increases, so does the cadence of the noise. The volume of the noise varies from non-existent to loud enough to hear with the windows up.

I've had it to the dealer twice, and of course, they couldn't duplicate the noise. They checked it out and said everything looks ok.

Any ideas or experience with this?
