There are a few threads on this one already, but they do 'kind of' exist...mostly in the form of very expensive retro fit kits. There are some for sale on eBay right now if you search for e90 and xenon. But they are usually around 3 grand...

New headlights, exciter, connectors. If you don't put them on in the first place, probably not as much, hence the $800 from the factory. And there is a difference between Xenon, and Adaptive Xenon. Adaptive requires the controller as well. When I checked with Parts Dept, it was about $2800 for materials. Didn't go back to Service to check installation. Also, even if you get them off eBay, you need to see your dealer for software changes, probably NOT included as CIP 19.1 upgrades. . .
