BMW's newest in-car connectivity and technologies were on display at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Video presentations and interactive displays showcased BMW link, BMW Station for iPhone, iPad holder, BMW hotspot, onboard internet, night vision, HUD, bluetooth office, and local search.

yeah. the controls did not look precise enough. maybe another software update would do the job.

iPad will only work over Bluetooth. I tried that in a car that came into my dealership. The iPad will not play when using the USB Cable.

Damn people! please understand what kind(s) of technologies are in play when using an interface like this.

it is not going to be lightning fast. From what I saw in that video, it took less than one second for the display to react to the input. from multi-touch interface > iphone CPU > Bluetooth Stack > BT receiver > BMW reciever (ECU) > output device (lights, locks, etc). Sometimes people can be so damn impatient. Just calm down and wait .25 of a second and it will work. Jeez.
