Question What H8 Yellow Halogen Bulbs To Get For AE's?

what's up guys, i'm currently running 3K HID's for my AE's but i think they are too bright so i want to go with regular halogen bulbs but can't decide on which ones to get. the ones i have narrowed it down to are (in no particular order):

1. Nokya 2500 (i've read that some have had errors with these and even had melted harnesses on fogs?)

2. Mtec 3300 (read that golden yellow isn't bright enough and to get JDM yellow but can't seem to find those?)

3. GP Thunder 3500

which ones do you guys recommend?? i know a lot of you guys don't like yellow AE's but i don't want white AE's that blend in with my Xenons.

The mtec 3300 and GP Thunder 3500 are both going to be a golden light yellow, not so much the dark yellow associated with jdm cars. If you want the color of your 3k HID's, your best bet would be Nokya Yellow.

I've used the 2500k Nokya H8's you posted in my fogs and in my angel eyes before and they've never thrown a error (atleast not on my e92), nor melted any of my plugs or harnesses.

I have the Nokya Yellows and no errors or burnt harness. I drive with them on day or night and no issues. Bright yellow.

what's up guys i also came across these bulbs, what are your opinions on them? i really want to go with the Nokya's since they look soo good but after reading more than 1 horror story about them melting housings and harnesses (especially on acura forums) i'm leaning away from them (unless you guys can convince me that they won't do any damage )

The stock AE bulb is 35w. The only way your harness could melt or if it throws a code is if the bulb is more than 35w. THis Nokya is 35w. So you should be just fine.

Well like I said in another thread, I installed nokya 2500k h8's for my ae's and they threw a code like it did with other people. But it seems like they only throw codes if you use them as ae's and don't when used as fogs.

Guess I'm gonna have to go with different bulbs, what other bulbs will match the nokya's color the best without throwing codes when used for ae's?
